Hope is the
eighteen-year-old daughter of Pete and Deborah Headrick and sister of
Charity and Colter. She is the granddaughter of Harlin and Marjorie
Headrick and the late Don and Lovina Dale all of Guymon.
Hope has been very involved in many high school activities
including Year Book, Student Council, Take Note Show Choir, National
Honor Society, Cheerleading and Soccer. She’s served the class of
2010 as president for three years. She is currently Editor-in-Chief
of the El Tigre Yearbook. She’s been selected for class royalty for
four years, and in September was crowned the 2009 Homecoming Queen.
She is very involved in the life of the Presbyterian Church.
She sings in the church choir and is a regular attendee of Logos and
Christians In Action. She also teaches at Vacation Bible School, and
is on the Session. Hope also enjoys being active in the Methodist
Youth and singing in the Methodist Praise Band.
In the summer months Hope is a certified lifeguard at the city pool.
Hope has spent much time volunteering in the community, but there’s
nothing she enjoys more than teaching her kindergarten class each
Wednesday at Logos as well as other activities with young children.
Hope’s future plans are to major in speech pathology and work with
children. She wants to thank the Rotary Club for this nice honor and
for all the Rotarians do for the community.
