What do you like/dislike about teaching kids?
|
|
|
I enjoy teaching because of the
interaction with the students. It is exciting to share business skills
with students to help them succeed after high school. |

What other language would you like to learn? Why?
What others do you know?

|
|
Spanish is the language I would like to learns because it would be
helpful with my Hispanic students. I attended a French preschool and
took three years of French in high school; it is amazing to me how
much I am still able to read. |

Why
did you pick this career and what do you like about it?
|
|
|
My initial interest in teaching came
from my business teacher, Mr. Hanson. It was his inspiration that showed
me how rewarding teaching/student interaction could be. |

Where are you originally from?
|
|
|
Originally I
hail from Midland, Michigan, but I have lived in Iowa, Illinois, and
Kansas before settling in Oklahoma the past 18 years. |
|

What is your dream vacation?
|
|
|
My
dream vacation is a couple weeks at my sister's cabin in Lake City,
Michigan. I have been going since I was 8 years old, and now that I live
in Oklahoma, it is even more of a treat to spend time there. Pagosa
Springs, Colorado and Jackson Hole, Wyoming are a close second in
favorite locations. |

My favorite color has always been
green- all shades. My least favorite color is pink. |

My late
husband's name is David, and our son's name is Brock. |
