Below are the 2008-2009 AP ART STUDENTS.
The question was asked, "What is your favorite thing about Art?"
Zinnia Salinas (the only senior)
Art is so calming and relaxing. When I'm
frustrated, it's my favorite thing to do. When I'm working on a
piece, I lose track of time and I'm sort of floating until something
come along and snaps me out of my reality. |
Karlea Brooks
It's my way of escaping reality and
expressing myself in a way that doesn't involve words. |
Nattaya Kusuwan
Art is my life, my soul, my everything. I
discovered my art world here (Nattaya is a foreign exchange from
Thailand), in Guymon tiger town. I want to stay in art class
until I have no breath. Art made my brain juicy! HaHa.

page. To check out her work

Dalton Imboden (RuFus)
I like people saying how great my work is,
even when I
don't think so. It boosts my confidence. |
Karina Avalos
I like the variety of creativity there is in the
extensive imagination. |
Paxton Maddox
Hmm....my favorite thing about art would have to
be looking at one of my pieces after I finished, and realizing that the
canvas was blank when I started. |
Amber Wells
I love that I can express myself in a universal
language!
Anna Mason
My favorite thing about art is... no, scratch
that, too
stereotypical...art is love; love is life; therefore, Life IS Art.
"Elementary Watson, Elementary." |
Idifonso Medina
Spending time working on my piece and having
fun. |
(I have the creative Liberty to wait until
the perfect picture of myself to post -- A.K.A.-- I haven't
gotten to taking my own picture yet) |
Tasha Overpeck
I love painting. Painting is my stress reliever.
I love looking at art and seeing all the detail and passion behind
every stroke. Art comes naturally to me so it's a nice break
from all my daily struggles.
