Lunch for August 26^th: Steak fingers, whipped potatoes, buttered carrots, hot roll, milk. 

• SENIORS: On Sept. 10^th from 10-11, University College Fair @ OPSU will have college representatives from schools in Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas present to answer questions and give information to you.  If you are interested in going, you must sign up with your English teacher no later than Thursday, Aug. 28^th.  You must not be on the ineligible list the week of the trip to actually get to attend the event.
   
• SENIORS & JUNIORS: The next available ACT Test given in Oklahoma is Oct. 25^th. The regular fee deadline is Sept. 19^th.  See Mrs. Martin for a packet.
   
• Staff ID picture sittings are Aug. 27^th @ 9:00 at the HS commons area.  This is for teachers, cooks, custodians, teaching aids, etc. who have not had their picture taken by Chris Urias.
   
• OnEighty Big Event:

Oneighty youth will be having their annual youth rally this Wed. at Victory Center, 6^th and Quinn at 6:30 p.m.  Free food, live worship, a drama, and a life altering message are all part of the activities included.  All youth and youth groups are encouraged to attend. 

• Elections for Senior and Junior class officers will be Wed.  Aug. 27^th in Mrs. Brooks(rm 101) and Mrs. Roberts(rm 102). If you are a junior or senior make sure to go by and vote.

Because there were not enough officer applications turned in for Sophomore and Freshman classes, elections will not take place.  The officers are the following:

Sophomores-LaKrisha Baker, Jill Brooks, Trey Fankhouser, Ashlee Ortiz, and Marisa Taylor

                Freshman-Destinee Belden, Bethany Burkhart, Kara Falls, and Taylor Landess 

• Students need to stay out of the academic area before school and during lunch.
• 
  School Pictures for Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors will be Aug. 28^th. 
   *Seniors this is your last chance to get pictures!!!
   
• Students who need to turn in Uncle Tom’s Cabin Mrs. Test: Keela Clark, Anna Mason, Jade Cruzan, Courtney Doyle, Alex Klinetobe, Sara Spirlock, Ethan Novak, Mayra Lopez, Kelsey Perrin, Sydney Sanders, Lance Harland, Saul Guerrero, Raymundo Quintero.

            Senior Scholarship Information:

Wendy’s High School Heisman(Scholarship, Athletics, Citizenship) – The award honors both male and female high school students who excel in academics, athletics, and student leadership.  Completed applications are due by October 1^st;  if you are interested go to www.wendyheisman.com for an application.
