The GHS Web Team students are in the process of recreating
ALL pages on the school website. You will start seeing new
website designs within the next few weeks. Please be aware that
not all links are working until we can get the entire website
created, which is an extremely time consuming process.
Thank you for your patience this with all of our technical

GHS Academic Team
Competes at Area
Guymon High School Academic Team
traveled to Chickasha High School January 14 to compete at the
Area Tournament. The team scored a total of 370 points advancing
into the third round of competition.
“I’m really
proud of our performance at Area,” Coach Laura Brandherm said.
“We haven’t competed at Area for several years, and the kids
really performed well,
especially given the difficulty of
playing at this level.”
High scorers
were Axel Anchondo with 80 points, and Austin Stark and Erikk
Burton with 40 points.
Also competing were Cai Barias,
Seth Hale, Averie
Hinchey, and Joanna Whipple.

Help Make a Difference
Max Low, a 13-year old boy from
Iowa who has been fighting leukemia since he was six, has a very
big wish. Mighty Max’s wish is to collect 1 million
letters or notes of support. If you would like to help get Max
a little closer to his goal, please take a note or card to Room
110. Mrs. Moore will mail the notes and cards on Monday.
Take just a minute to help make a difference in Mighty Max’s
life! |

If you would like to be in skit with you or your friends, let

Skits are parodies of high school life. Skits will be taken
through Friday,February 3 only!! Don't forget to turn in your
