Next week is HOMECOMING WEEK! Along with all the fun planned, we will be dressing up! So you can plan, here are the dress-up days for Junior High and High School, and also for the Elementary Schools.
There are only 4 Early Release days in the 2023-2024 School Year.
REMINDER: GPS no longer has Early Release every Monday.
The Early Release dates are:

Wednesday, April 3rd
Guardians, please check your email and text messages for invites to ROOMS. We know that not everyone has received one. Next week, we will begin contacting parents who have not accepted an invite and got into ROOMS with other ways they can get in. Thank you for your help and patience.

If you are going to drop your child off at school tomorrow, please show them where the bus stop is if they are riding the bus home after school! REMINDER: All District Meet the Teacher Day is TOMORROW from 11 am - 1 pm & 3 pm -5 pm. Please stop by your student's school to finish enrollment, fill out important paperwork, meet teachers and principals, and get schedules!

Meet the Teacher at all schools is Monday, August 14th from 11 am - 1 pm and 3 pm - 5 pm. We are excited to see you all there to get to know your teachers and administrators, get schedules, find out important info, and make sure everything is set up for the year!
GPS has a new website design to help you find what you need! It is at the same place, www.guymontigers.com, but is easier to use. There is the District page, but each Principal will also have a page for the school. You can search the site for exactly what you need and stay updated with what is happening in the District, and at your school. We are excited to share more timely information with you on the website and in other ways. Stay tuned for more!
Guymon Public Schools will be at the PTCI Back to School Bash & Children's Health Fair! If you don't have your enrollment done yet, this is the perfect time to do it. (Spanish translation available.) We will also have our last Tuesday of extended hours (Open until 6 pm) next Tuesday, July 25th.

Summer is the perfect time for students to read! They have time to learn and grow by enjoying different books, magazines, reading apps, and the stories you read to them! At the end of the school year, students in 3rd and 4th grade at Academy Elementary School chose three free books for summer Books for Breaks. This program allows them to have books at their homes over the summer to read for pleasure. We would like to thank our partner in funding, TCEC, for helping to purchase the books! The GiFTS Grant and library fundraising money allowed us to give away over 1200 books for the summer! Mrs. Harris was happy to see the excited faces of the students!
