At the end of the school year, students in 3rd and 4th grade at Academy Elementary School chose three free books for summer Books for Breaks. This program allows them to have books at their homes over the summer to read for pleasure. We would like to thank our partner in funding, TCEC, for helping to purchase the books! The GiFTS Grant and library fundraising money allowed us to give away over 1200 books for the summer! Mrs. Harris was happy to see the excited faces of the students!

Academy Elementary had so many fun events for students at the end of the school year! The 4th Graders had an Egg Drop competition! THANK YOU, Guymon Fire Department for your help!
Free breakfast and lunch for kids 18 and younger started Tuesday, May 30th, and goes through Friday, June 30th, Monday-Friday at North Park Elementary, 14oo N. Crumley. Breakfast is from 8:30 am-9:00 am, and Lunch is from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Adults can eat but must pay for their meals.
At the end of the year, Academy Elementary 3rd graders had a COLOR RUN! They had to get 95 out of 100 multiplication facts in 7 minutes! Way to go!
