Academy 4th grade students recently put their spelling skills to the test in an exciting Spelling Bee! Every student participated at the classroom level, with two winners from each class advancing to compete in the gym in front of their fellow 4th graders and proud families.
The competition was intense, with a strong final four battling it out all the way to the end—so much so, they had to come back the next day to finish! 👏
This was a great opportunity for students to challenge themselves, build confidence, and showcase their hard work.
🏆 Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Champion, Yaiza Costilla from Ms. Herald’s class! 🏆

Beginning May 12, 2026, all parents/guardians of returning Guymon Public Schools students must update their student’s information for the upcoming school year.
⚠️ Important: Students WILL NOT be enrolled for the 2026–2027 school year until all required forms are completed.
If you already have a Sylogist account, simply log in and follow the steps to update your student’s information and submit all required documents.
