🎉 Big News for Guymon Speech & Debate! 🎉 For the first time ever, FOUR Guymon High School students have been awarded scholarships to attend the prestigious Shannon Self Debate Institute at the University of Oklahoma — one of the top policy debate camps in the nation! 🏆 Thanks to the support of OU Debate Coach Lindsey Shook, and the dedication of our very own Mr. Acevedo, these students will be attending the two-week camp completely free of charge — a $2,200 value per student! 💥 Please join us in congratulating: 👩‍🎓 Emma Lwin (Senior) 👨‍🎓 Jonas Brady (Senior) 👩‍🎓 Kimberly Ramirez (Senior) 👨‍🎓 Kasyn Taylor (Sophomore) They’ll be staying on campus, learning from some of the best in the nation, and bringing those skills back to strengthen our team next season. 🙌 Mr. Acevedo will also be volunteering at the camp for the second year in a row and providing transportation and support for our students during their stay.
