A Guymon High School teacher of Algebra II, Math Analysis, and Physics, Mrs. Fankhouser brings 39 years of experience in education to the classroom. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to helping students understand and appreciate the beauty of mathematics and physics.
Her teaching is rooted in hands-on, student-centered learning, where engagement and feedback shape each lesson. She is passionate about helping students build confidence in their abilities while connecting what they learn to real-life applications.
For Mrs. Fankhouser, teaching goes far beyond academics—it’s about watching students grow over time and knowing she has played a meaningful role in their journey. Her impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are proud to recognize her as this year’s district Teacher of the Year.
